Tillage

Tillage is the first step in the agricultural cycle and typically is carried out twice per year, in spring and autumn. The purpose is to prepare the soil for new seed. The main challenges are a very harsh environment, tilting forces, shock loads, high machine speeds and avoiding any downtime during season.
If tillage bearings are not customized and prepared for these harsh conditions, it can easily lead to damage and early-life failure. Such events lower productivity, increase maintenance costs and reduce overall profitability.
